DADDY ADEBOYE |
Despite call by certain pastors in the church to Pastor Enoch Adeboye to retired from active pastoral work, the man of God has indicated that he would do as at "the right time".
However, one of the news in City People magazine says the over-zealousness of some ambitious pastors in the church (RCCG) over
their insistence that Pastor Adeboye resigns as the General Overseer of
the church is taking another turn.
According to the news, the revered man of God recently survived an attempt on his life through food poisoning and it is believed not to be unconnected with the retirement controversy.
Since Pastor Adeboye, popularly called Daddy G.O. turned 70 in March this year, some pastors have been putting pressure on the revered man of God to vacate the post in compliance with the church for any serving official to retire when they clock 70 years of age.
