Aluu Masacre: A message from D'banj

They were my brothers…and yours.
Four days ago, I woke up to yet another unspeakable tragedy.
Four young men, all undergraduates, brimming with great dreams, unfulfilled aspirations and a promising future were killed. To express the depth of my pain and shock at their murder is impossible. And understanding how events could have degenerated to this level is truthfully beyond me.

Dozens of HIV and AIDS patients in the Gambia, a tiny West African State have been cured using his secret concoction of boiled herbs, according to President Yahya Jammeh.

“Who am I to expect that everybody would praise me," President Jammeh said in a state television broadcast on Sunday evening, announcing that 68 patients had been cured and discharged from a treatment centre.

“Just as the Prophet Mohammed prevailed and established Islam, I have also prevailed to cure HIV/AIDS to the point that 68 are being discharged today," he said.

Scientist convinced of the existence of heaven after 7-day out-of-body odyssey

A skeptical scientist who had spent his career studying the mechanics of the brain and dismissing patient tales of journeys to heavenly realms has revealed his extraordinary conversion after his own encounter with the afterlife during a near-death experience.

Dr Eben Alexander spent 15 years as an academic neurosurgeon at Harvard but he was struck with a nearly fatal bout of bacterial meningitis in 2008 and had no brain activity when he lay comatose for seven days at a Virginia hospital.

Though he was unconscious and unresponsive during that period, he is now describing a 'hyper-vivid and completely coherent odyssey' to a place beyond, filled with butterflies and resounding music that has shaken his scientific viewpoint on human consciousness.

The Truth Finally Comes Out: Why the 4 Students Were Killed

Since this incident happened I've pondered and wondered what could have gone wrong that the four boys weren't bold enough to talk and challenge those who beat and paraded them in public, leading them to where they were eventually killed.

Now the whole issue is clearer; the boys "ignorantly" got themselves involved with a cultist who operates with a gun, all in a bid to get their money back from a debtor.

Below is what actually happened according to an insider....

Photo: Why Should Rita Dominic Expose Her Boobs?

I really wonder why a respected actress like Rita Dominic would dress this badly to a public function. She's not married, yet her boobs are no longer firm and she feels comfortable to display? Wow, this beats me!
Many people have said a lot about this dressing, some for and others against. But I think what is bad is bad and should not be covered no matter the personality involved.
Rita is a popular actress and as such she has a lot of influence on young ladies who always want to copy stuff from so called celebrities....
What do you think about this South/South display?

Did Worshippers Mock President Jonathan During Church Service In Abuja?

“Our commitment to the fight against corruption is second to that of America’s commitment. We are very commitment to it and everybody knows,” said Jonathan.

Worshippers at the National Christian Centre in Abuja on Sunday, according to an online media, mocked and laughed at President Goodluck Jonathan when he described his government as second only to the United States of America in its commitment to fighting corruption.

Why Broken Marriages Are Rampant Today

The Redeemed Christian Church of God has expressed concern over the rampant cases of broken marriages and blamed the development on weak foundation.

The church also advised young women to avoid cohabiting with their would-be-husbands (who sometimes may end up not getting married to them) if they must enjoy marital bliss.

The Convener/Wife of the Abuja Regional Pastor, Mrs. Victoria Bolanle Olaade, stated this on Saturday during the 2012 Regional Sisters’ Conference of the RCCG with the theme ‘New approach to Kingdom service.’

Mrs. Olaade said, “The foundation of marriage matters; it is whatever you build on the foundation that will germinate for you to see in the future.

“There is moral decadence in the whole world today. In the olden days, they don’t allow a young woman to go to the house of her husband-to-be, you won’t even know the place.

“But today, something you are supposed to enjoy later, you are enjoying it now and before you know it, it will become distasteful to you and because they have alternative to marriage, they believe that with divorce, they will have their own way.”

At the event, wife of the General Overseer of the church, Mrs. Folu Adeboye, and a former Director-General of the Due Process Office, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, advocated preaching Christ and empowerment of the youth in nation building.

Man mistakenly shoots and kills masked son

A US man mistakenly shot dead his 15-year-old son while investigating what appeared to be an attempted burglary at his sister's house next door. Jeffrey Giuliano opened fire on a masked teenager outside his sister's house when the person came at him with a knife.

According to police, the father was called by his sister, who lives next door, at around 1am on Friday when she heard someone outside her home and believed they were attempting to break in. The popular fifth-grade teacher confronted the person wearing a ski mask, black clothing and holding what appeared to be a knife. As the person lunged at him with the knife, Guilliano fired his gun.

Police later told him after removing the mask that he had killed his adopted son Tyler (pictured above). No charges have yet been filed in the case.
